Auto Repair Eugene

I recently took my 2003 Jeep Wrangler in to have the clutch/throw-out bearing replaced. They went to great lengths to make sure quality parts were used (three different fly-wheels they ordered contained hot-spots or poor/rough surfacing.) They also repaired some leaky seals, all within a budget that I set. Very professional and accommodating. I definitely trust their opinions and workmanship.

I just moved to Eugene 2 months ago. My neighbor referred me to Prairie Road Automotive, as I drive an old Honda. The headlight went out so I called to find out whether I needed an appointment and whether they had to order the part. A most pleasant and friendly guy answered. He had the part and told me I could come any time. Then my battery went dead. I got a jump and drove over to Prairie Road Auto. They checked out the battery for me and found it good. They also changed the light bulb for me very quickly. I was in and out so quickly all while sitting in their most pleasant, clean waiting area with a sofa, chairs, coffee machine, and soft drink machine. The guys in the office were very nice and friendly, too. I felt very well taken care of and will continue with them as my mechanics.

I am always treated with respect and honesty at Prairie Rd Auto as well willingness to help with all my concerns, offer rides to and from, and call with diagnosis before work on anything unexpected. Everyone is consistently courteous and cheerful. I like that they are very much a local family who are just like the good neighbor next door!
